All teenagers are treated as adults. Thus are expected to train with and
act like adults.
We offer personal training, or small group training.
One to four students per class.

Our Philosophy
To keep all adults pain free, flexible, emotional and physically capable
of taking care of themselves as they travel down the river of life.
AGE IS A CONDITION, NOT A NUMBER.
All of our programs promote fitness, healthy living and self defense. Each class is versatile enough to meet each student’s particular needs, young and old alike. We offer something for the whole family, whether you are looking to lose weight, build confidence, or just stay active, you will find it here. The by-product of our programs keeps students physically, emotionally, and mentally fit.

Rambling of a mad sensei
Don’t blame the kids
Our kids will become a reflection of the adults in their lives and the value system that they are brought up with. Let’s leave them with a fundamental value system that can stand the test of time.
The Chinese grow carp that if grown correctly are very beautiful and sought after; to the tune of $30,000 per fish. Thus Japanese business men got into this lucrative market, but there carp were weak, frail and unattractive until the Chinese told them their secret: Put a rock in the middle of the pond and the fish will be strong and healthy. The carp need a reference point, as do our kids. You can’t put it there one day and take it away the next.
Fifty years ago, when I began karate training the street talk was, hay man, cool, smoking w**d, drinking cough medicine, popping uppers and downers This was the beginning of the drug age. Before that it was strictly beer, wine and cheep whiskey.
At the dojo (training hall), the karate students put there feet together, hands by their side, bowed and said good evening Sensei (teacher) .
If you were disrespectful, smoked w**d, or heaven forbid – RANK CONSCIOUS, you were weaned out. Now the street talk is “DUDE” drugs are at an all time high our morality is in the sewer, yet at the dojo the Karate students still put there feet together hands by their side and say, good evening Sensei.
Like the carp the Karate student has a rock, a reference point which is the Sensei. The Sensei is totally dedicated to the art and the students. You can forget to pay, but don’t you dare forget to bow. We have an expression in Shotokan Karate which is, the future of every country is in its school yards.
The development of your child is influenced by every adult in their life. Your kids don’t make the movies, video games, or gangster rap. The media has a saying; “if it bleeds it reads” Thus we are all bombed with negative news 24-7.
Yes they have that first amendment right. And the adults have the right to manufacture and sell almost anything. This is why, YOU the PARENT the positive influence (rock), in their life must get between your child and every negative influence you can.
We all have a job to do, let’s get to work and make some great Americans.
