This project meant a lot. A dear friend of mine lost the Furry companion he shared with a former partner. Being the ever classy guy he is, he commissioned a piece for her using Jasper's cremains, so that she may have a totem of the friendship they shared. Jasper was a good good pup. The center 'stone' set in the green is simply resin mixed with the cremains. Jasper looks like granite!

Again, ever classy and stoic, my friend declined a totem for himself. We have an understanding based in Klingon tradition. The body is but a husk. So we screamed until hoarse, and that was that. But Jasper looks so pretty as a granite slab, and we also have an understanding that Until Valhalla welcomes us, Jasper will be waiting. So, Jasper became the friendship binding rune, a talisman to keep the stoic man company, until Valhalla welcomes him, and his body becomes just a husk.
