🌟 Staff Spotlight: Meet Sonja Pesina 🌟

If there’s one thing Sonja Pesina does exceptionally well, it’s building strong relationships. Her strength is connecting with people—taking the time to listen, understand and truly get to know the clients she serves.

Sonja’s goal is to help clients see the real value their retirement plan brings—not just to the business, but to the employees who rely on it. She wants clients to feel confident in their plan and understand how it supports their workforce.

She encourages clients to come to her with questions—especially when something isn’t going right. If a client is unhappy or frustrated, she sees that as an opportunity to work together toward a solution. This allows her to execute one of her joys, which is breaking down the complexities of plan administration into information clients can understand and share with their employees. Making complicated topics approachable and clear is where she shines.

Outside of work, Sonja loves to relax on her back porch with a good book—her favorite way to unwind and recharge.

Sonja’s advice for clients and those entering the profession would be to adopt a philosophy of willingness to accept change. Technology and the industry are always evolving, and staying open to new and efficient practices is key to long‑term success.
