This summer, we're screening a special Smithsonian film every Saturday! These full-length documentaries highlight important moments, stories, and perspectives from across U.S. history. Screenings take place on select Saturdays and are included with regular museum admission.

After years of planning and months of construction, “Cultural Crossroads” opens in one week—bringing the stories of Central Texas to life in an entirely new way.

Join us for Opening Night
Be part of an evening of celebration, music, and community as we gather to mark the opening of “Cultural Crossroads.” Enjoy a live flute performance by Comanche artist Tim Nevaquaya, music from the Baylor Mariachi Band, and gospel selections from Baylor’s Black Gospel Archive. We are honored to celebrate alongside representatives from the Wichita and Comanche tribes, as well as our partners and friends.
