A few years ago we were asked to pray for a young teen going through bone cancer. We knew of the family through friends but never knew the full story. Jeremiah Strong, by Rusty and Kendra Thomas is an intimate look at what Jeremiah Thomas, his family, and his friends went through during his experience fighting cancer. But this story is not just a medical account; it is the story of hope, purpose, and faith. Jeremiah’s brief life reached out to touch the hearts of people across the globe while he fought for the rights of those who could not speak for themselves. I couldn’t put the book down and definitely needed a box of tissue next to me; however, his story left me encouraged, hopeful, and re-energized. This is a must-read for those searching for purpose, going through a difficult time, or just wanting to see how God can use you no matter your circumstances. Best book I’ve read in a long time and very well-written.
