Many siblings in foster care are separated due to a shortage of foster homes, often living hours apart or even in different states. For some, our summer camp is the only time all year they get to see one another. ✈️💜

At Rooted Kinections, we create a place where siblings can reconnect, make memories, and build friendships with others who understand their journey. We cover the cost of camp and provide the support each child needs so they can focus on what matters most: being together.

Every sibling deserves the chance to stay connected. ⭐️

Rooted Kinections's Volunteer Spotlight ☀️🌻

Meet Jason, another one of our very important volunteers who helps bring camp to life: “Volunteering with Rooted Kinections has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life; I've been a camp counselor for two summers, and am beyond excited for a third this summer!

As a counselor last summer, I was privileged to organize and MC 'Rooted Kinections on Stage', (I think that's what we called it 😅) which gave an opportunity to the campers to show off different skills, passions, and growth experiences in front of a supportive and enthralled crowd of their peers. Remembering siblings grow confident, expand their horizons, and have some basic fun while the rest of the world melts into the background still brings happy tears to my eyes! Cheers to all who donate and volunteer to this most worthy of causes :)”

We appreciate all of our volunteers and the help they can offer to bring our summer camp together. From running crafts and activities, to making sure everyone eats, collecting items for the Birthday store, or even someone coming to help for the day. Since our non-profit organization is ran by volunteers, we want to show the people BTS at camp! 💞

In ten short days, Rooted Kinections will be hosting an evening of competitive fun at Little Silver Tennis Club! Donations to our organization will help us carry out our critical mission to connect siblings separated by foster care! 💖
Both kids and adults are welcome to play tennis matches (prices vary), socialize, eat, and potentially win from our basket raffle! Who doesn’t love to win a “double”?! We hope to see everyone there to enjoy the summer weather and the Little Silver community! ☀🎾
