Kilo came in jumpy, impulsive and nose first into everything. Three weeks of leadership, structure and follow through made the difference. Graduation is earned, not given. Now the real work begins at home.

🐾 Meet Ruby 🐾
Ruby is a 1 year and 3 month old long-haired Miniature Dachshund joining us for our 3-Week Board & Train program here at Structured K9 Training.
While her mom is away on vacation, Ruby is here to learn structure, manners, and safer leash skills. Like many young dachshunds, she’s full of personality — but her zig-zagging on walks has already caused her owner to trip and get injured. She also loves the couch life and spending lots of time on laps, so we’ll be helping her learn calm boundaries, better leash behavior, and clear communication.
Over the next few weeks we’ll be focusing on:
✔️ Structured obedience
✔️ Safer walking skills
✔️ Calm behavior around people
✔️ Accountability and consistency
Stay tuned for Ruby’s progress and follow along in our stories!

My dog Giddy went through a life-threatening emergency last night and had to undergo major bloat surgery. He’s still in the hospital, and I’m doing everything I can to bring him home.
Giddy has been with me through every part of my Structured K9 Training program. He’s helped countless dogs learn confidence, calm behavior, and balance. Last night it was him who needed help.
During the procedure, his blood pressure dropped so low the medical team had to manually pump his heart to keep him with us. They told me he wouldn’t have made it through the day without surgery.
He’s fighting hard, and I’m fighting with him.
If you can donate or even just share this, it would mean more than I can say. Every bit of help brings me closer to getting him home and back to the dogs he loves helping.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out, prayed for him, or shared his story.
Giddy means everything to me.

🐾 Welcome Willow! 🐾
Please welcome Willow, a 1.5-year-old German Shepherd and our newest trainee at Structured K9 Training!
Willow struggles with intense dog reactivity and door-jumping, but she’s here to change all that. We recently worked with her owner to transition away from the prong collar and introduce her to the Sidekick® leash — a tool that helps guide her toward more calm, focused behavior.
She’s now enrolled in our 3-week Board & Train program, where we’ll be working on impulse control, reactivity, and helping her become a more balanced companion.
Follow along as Willow takes the next steps in her training journey! 💪🐕

Meet Kali — a 6-month-old Doberman with a big personality and a love for, well… laundry 🧺. She pulls on the leash, gets startled by new things, and acts like most curious puppies do. Over the next 3 weeks in our Board & Train program, Kali will learn calm structure, clear communication, and how to focus through distractions. Her family will walk away with a confident pup and the tools they need for long-term success. 🐾💪
