Moonlight Magicals

I am feeling so much joy and honor with my discovery in the garden today! I have attempted many times to start Tulsi from seed. This last spring I was so excited I finally have some sprouts in starter pods. But in the chaos of motherhood I forgot to water them for just a few days and they withered away. I was so sad and hoped maybe some seeds I sprinkled out front might sprout, but after many months nothing. Then miraculously I took a look through my wildflower garden and bam who was there to greet me but the beautiful Tulsi full in bloom! How did I miss her before? It’s amazing how so many gifts can go unnoticed when you are stuck in the weeds of life. I feel so grateful to have a new friend, I truly feel connected to these plants and they come to you when you need them 💗🌱

Today’s harvest Passion flowers and Ashwagangha root! Both plants purchased as babies from the local vista farmers market. The little passion vine was so tiny, it attracts a local butterfly and is covered in caterpillars once they metamorphosis they come back to feed on the flowers so it is always bustling with butterflies which is pretty magical 🌙 I love watching all the bees, butterflies, birds and lizards that frequent our garden 🪴 I feel so blessed to be able to nurture a habitat for them to thrive and witness their beauty.
