🚒 Training Today for Tomorrow’s Emergencies 🚒

Firefighters from Visalia, Dinuba, Reedley, Farmersville, Lindsay, Hanford, Porterville, NAS Lemoore, and Tulare County Fire Department are wrapping up a week-long Driver/Operator 1B course, strengthening the skills needed to safely and effectively operate fire apparatus during emergency incidents.

Throughout the week, students learned the principles of fire pump theory and applied those concepts through realistic simulated evolution exercises. This hands-on training helps prepare firefighters to deliver reliable water supply, troubleshoot pump operations, and support fireground operations when every second counts.

By training together, these agencies continue to build stronger partnerships and enhance their ability to serve and protect the communities throughout the Central Valley.

Thank you to all of the instructors and participants for their dedication to professional development and operational excellence. Congratulations to everyone on successfully completing the Driver/Operator 1B course!
