We had so much fun with our new SimBaby today, taking him out to his first in situ sim session with our peds team. Our learners had to manage this "patient" as he was being transported to the floor from a craniotomy, tackling his bradycardia, hypotension, and seizures with care and grace. Fantastic job, team!

We love seeing our clinical educators take Sim Center supplies and manikins over to the hospital - it allows for providers to be able to get valuable education without having to leave their shift!

Everyone guessed it right - last week, we posted a picture of fake ice as a clue to our next in situ sim, which was absolutely a case of malignant hyperthermia!!

Amazing work to our OR crew who identified the MH quickly, called the hotline for help, and started dantrolene in a timely fashion to help save the life of their patient - SimMan lives to see another day :-)
