One of my favorite parts of event day isn’t just the balloons—it’s helping bring all the final details together.

For this beautiful baby shower, the hosts created many of the personalized décor elements themselves and brought an amazing vision to life. My role was providing the balloon décor and on-site event setup support to help pull everything together.

From hanging banners and signs to providing the fishing line, tape, and all those little “I didn’t think about that” items that seem to magically disappear when you need them most, sometimes having an extra set of experienced hands makes all the difference.

That’s where my handy-dandy kit (and this handy-dandy lady 😉) came in clutch.

Whether you need full balloon décor, event setup support, or just someone to help solve problems and put the finishing touches on your event, I’m happy to jump in wherever I’m needed.

This weekend, I had the absolute sweetest opportunity to help celebrate my Hampton Roads Chamber membership coordinator’s daughter’s birthday 💜❄️

When I first joined the Hampton Roads Chamber, Ellie was the first person who truly welcomed and supported me as a new business owner. Since then, she has become not only a trusted resource through the Chamber, but also a supporter of The Go To Gal and now a wonderful client as well.

Being invited to create something special for her daughter’s birthday honestly meant so much to me.

One of my favorite parts of owning this business has been realizing that so many of these connections become more than “networking.” They turn into real relationships, real support, and people who genuinely want to see each other succeed.

Seeing all the little girls in their princess dresses and seeing everything come together was such a sweet reminder of why I love what I do ✨

Ellie, thank you for all of your support, encouragement, and trust. I’m so grateful to have connected with you and to have been part of such a special day for your family 💜

A little behind-the-scenes from today’s event setup for Newman Financial Services! ✏️🍎🐛

I love when businesses are willing to add a little creativity and personality to their tables and events. Small details really do make people stop, smile, and engage.

The pencil column and caterpillar/apple combo were such a fun build for this school appreciation themed event today in Chesapeake!

Thankful for every opportunity to keep growing, creating, and meeting more amazing local businesses through The Go To Gal. 💛

Feeling incredibly grateful to have been included in Cedar Road Elementary’s Teacher Appreciation Week alongside so many amazing local businesses. 💙

Being able to use creativity to celebrate teachers and staff who pour so much into our children means more than I can explain. A lot of the decor pieces were actually repurposed and reimagined from previous builds, including elements from the Hampton Roads Chamber Spring Expo setup, which made this project even more meaningful to me.

Teacher Appreciation Week at Cedar Road Elementary School 💚✨

This one meant a lot to me. The assistant principal gave me full creative freedom to transform both the conference room and teacher lunchroom into spaces that felt fun, welcoming, and a little magical for the staff who pour so much into their students every single day.

From the whimsical garden-inspired install to the rainbow wall piece and floating clouds, every detail was created with teachers in mind. 🍎☁️🌈

Teachers do so much behind the scenes, and it was such an honor for The Go To Gal to help celebrate them this week.
