📸Say cheese! It’s National Camera Day! This motion picture camera was gifted to the Princess Anne County Training School Athletic Department from the class of 1960.

In 2010, Mr. Clyde Siler, donated the camera to the Princess Anne County Training School/Union Kempsville High School Museum collection. Mr. Siler was a 1946 graduate of Princess Anne County Training School and later returned to the school to teach several subjects including science, driver’s education, and physical education, and coached the men’s basketball, baseball and football teams.

You can learn more about Mr. Siler, athletics at the school, and even snap a selfie in front of the 1960 camera on display at the Princess Anne Count Training School/Union Kempsville High School Museum. The museum is open for free, self-guided tours on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is located inside the Renaissance Academy, 5100 Cleveland St.
