Head on a swivel at all times. If recent events haven’t opened your eyes to how dangerous the world is, nothing is going to shock you out that apathetic state. I think that is what scares me the most that most people live in a “ostrich head in the sand” mindset. If it does not directly affect their life, it is of little to no importance.

The monster in the dark wants you complacent, not looking over your shoulder. They want you unprepared for their attack, a soft target easy to overwhelm. Be ready. Train your body and your mind. Keep an eye on the dark places.

In the end all defeat is psychological. You are never truly beaten until you give up on yourself. The path is hard to walk for a reason, it builds a strong mind, body and soul. If it was smooth a pebble, the slightest inconvenience, would become impassible, an unclimbable mountain. So face all obstacles head on, death grip on your sword, and cut your way through. If you close your eyes and let out your last breath. Did you really live if there isn’t a little blood on your blade, a few scars on your skin, and a few mountains climbed?
