The third year was called Pushing yourselves to the limits.

Imagine setting up this hike, ready to go, 8 people said yes, and only 3 people finished.
This was the year of heat. Where everyone was quitting due to exhaustion and cramps. Hiking old rag and the climb to the summit skyline drive was brutal in 89 degree weather. But Jereme, Seth, and John prevailed.

That year everyone raised $15, 700.

Anyone else have a hike that just didn't go as planned? It's normal. It happens.

Each hike was a stepping stone to the next.

The very first inaugural hike was Epic of the journeys. The beginning Saga.
Everything was unknown. 4 people said yes to an epic hike of the VA Triple Crown.

The first year with everything unknown we raised $9,945.00.

Have you ever hiked the triple crown? What was your favorite?
If you were on this hike what was your best memory?

Seth had the idea and needed someone to help execute it. Corbitt was just that person to help create the foundation.

The hike started off small and mighty with each year the impact growing.

It is amazing what people are capable of doing when their hearts and passions collide.

Please follow along as our goal is to grow our community even bigger for the 7th annual Awareness hike.

This week we are going back to the beginning.

Seth knew he wanted to do something huge but didn't know what yet. If you've never heard the story stay tuned this week.

Spindle Cell Sarcoma was not the end but the start of a powerful story and the start of the Awareness hike.

What Is the Awareness Hike?

Simple explanation: a community hike created to raise awareness, move with purpose, and bring people together for something bigger than themselves.

We raise funds for Aid Another so that they can continue their mission of supporting individuals with disabilities and their families.

Just look at some of the amazing things Aid Another is able to do with community support.
