On-Site Project Preview: Lowder Construction Project – Virden, Illinois

SC Handy Drones was recently on-site in Virden, Illinois, capturing the latest progress at the Lowder Construction project. This build is continuing to move forward, with a major milestone now complete as the foundation has been poured and the groundwork for future development is clearly taking shape.

From the air, the layout of the project is becoming much easier to visualize. Plumbing lines are now visible throughout the foundation area, providing an early glimpse into the structure’s future footprint. While there is still plenty of work ahead, these foundational stages are some of the most important, setting the stage for everything that follows.

It’s always exciting to document a project from the very beginning and watch it transform step by step. As construction progresses, each visit provides a unique perspective on the craftsmanship, planning, and coordination required to bring a project from concept to reality.

Aerial imagery offers a viewpoint that simply can’t be appreciated from ground level, helping showcase project scale, site organization, and construction progress in a way that traditional photography cannot.
