Mayo Clinic researchers are looking for individuals ages 21-35 and 70-85 to participate in a research study. The purpose of this study is to understand how adipose tissue influences skeletal muscle function and anabolic response to exercise in older adults. To better understand this, we are enrolling both young adults and older adults for comparison. Study participation includes 1 screening visit, 1 outpatient visit, and 1 overnight study visit in the Clinical Research Trial Unit at Saint Mary’s Campus in Rochester, MN. You will also have an MRI.
