Among the highlights of this week’s 250th anniversary events was the Liberty Medal Ceremony at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. The event brought together a number Augustinian friars to witness their Augustinian brother, Pope Leo XIV, receive the award. In this photo, they were joined by the Most Rev. Nelson J. Perez, Archbishop of Philadelphia.

We frequently highlight vocations to religious life as an Augustinian friar - but there are lots of ways to get involved with the Augustinians as a layperson! Congratulations to these two, and thank you for your support of the Augustinians.
The Augustinian Province of St. Thomas of Villanova welcomes and congratulates its newest Augustinian Affiliates, Barry and Pat Mulhern. Affiliation is the highest honor that the Order can bestow on the laity, as affiliates formally become part of the Augustinian Order.
The affiliation ceremony took place in Rome where the Mulherns participated in a pilgrimage sponsored by Our Mother of Good Counsel Parish where they are members. Barry and Pat have served their Augustinian parish as volunteers in many capacities. Barry also recently completed a six-year term as a member of the Province's Advancement Council.
Congratulations, Pat and Barry!
