✨ We had a great time at the 12th Annual Candela Awards at The Howard Theatre. ✨

From the cocktail reception to the awards dinner, it was a great night catching up with industry friends and celebrating the lighting designers whose work brings so much atmosphere, creativity, and intention to the spaces around us. Congratulations to this year’s award recipients!

We’re excited to showcase our recently completed design for Sugar Plums Daycare, a 5,800 SF childcare center in Rockville, MD. Located on the first floor of an office building, the space was designed to create a bright, welcoming environment for children from infancy through kindergarten while supporting the daily routines of families, teachers, and staff.

Project highlights include:
🖍️ Eight classrooms designed for different ages, activities, and routines
🖍️ A brand-inspired palette carried throughout the space
🖍️ A welcoming reception area that turns an existing column into a playful focal point
🖍️ Thoughtful storage solutions, including lockers, carrier cubbies, supply storage, and buggy storage
