We were honored to attend the Annual Judicial Reception hosted by the Bar Association of the District of Columbia (BADC), at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

It was a meaningful evening celebrating the judiciary — recognizing newly appointed judges and those taking senior status or retiring.
Special thanks to BADC President Shirley Ann Higuchi for leading the event and to Sam Mihara, WWII Japanese American incarceration survivor and 51st Jefferson Lecturer for the National Endowment for the Humanities, for his inspiring remarks.

We are grateful to have been part of such an important occasion honoring dedication, service, and justice in our community.

Just had the most joyful evening at the Opera House with The Sound of Music!

Sixty-five years later, and this musical still makes you feel like spinning on top of a hill in Austria. The voices, the energy, the music—absolutely unforgettable. Bravo to the cast and to director Jack O’Brien for bringing this classic to life once again!
