Today's featured Hometown Art Auction artist is Liz DiFrancisco. 🌸

Liz is a local Vienna resident who is a dabbler in many things. She paints in watercolor, acrylic and alcohol inks. She also gardens and runs both the Vienna VA Plant Swap and the Lake Anna Area Plant Swap pages. She is an avid volunteer, lending her time and talents to both Boy and Girl Scouts, gardening clubs at Louise Archer and Thoreau, coaching in VYS and VGSL and working for VYS, VLL, VGSL and GVBRL and Rustic Love. In her free time she also fosters puppies and raises chickens. 🌸 If you're ever in a pinch, call Liz and she will show up promptly to help and will have all the tools to fix it!

Welcome to today’s Sneak Peek for the Rustic Love Hometown Art Auction! 🎨💛 Today we are thrilled to feature textile printmaker, artist, and educator Chitra Sharma.

Chitra grew up in the UK, where she studied Textile Design and Printmaking in college. She now lives in Vienna and teaches printmaking and other forms of art through her company, Noctiluna. For the past fourteen years, she has also led a Summer Creativity Camp for children in Vienna, inspiring young artists to explore their creativity. 👩🏽‍🎨

Her own fine art practice focuses on painting and embroidery, and she currently has work on exhibit at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA. In addition, Chitra designs, prints, and sells clothing for babies and children at local boutiques and markets. 👕

In 2026, Chitra became the inaugural Tinkerer in Residence at the National Children’s Museum in Washington, DC, where she continues pursuing her dream of passing on a love of art, design, and creative tinkering to future generations. 💛

We are so honored to have her beautiful piece, Beach House, featured in this year’s auction. Chitra is truly an immense talent, and we are grateful for her support of our mission to fight food insecurity in our community. 💛
