🥹🐾💗 WE HAVE SOME AMAZING NEWS TO SHARE… 💗🐾🥹
OUR BERT “BERTIE BOY” HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!! 😭🙌🙏🏡
And Bert… is now ARLO 🥹💗🐾
Last week, we drove Bertie Boy to meet his new family at their home, and just as we hoped and prayed… they were the perfect match for him🥺🙏
Bert absolutely LOVES kids, and the moment he walked into their home, he just blended right in. It was like he had been there for years 💗 He was playing with the kiddos, taking food gently from their hands, soaking up all the attention, and making himself right at home.
After waiting over TWO long years, our boy finally found his family 😭🏡🐾
And goodness… this one was bittersweet… 💕
Toby was one of Bert’s very best friends, and when Toby was adopted a few weeks ago, it felt like a little spark in Bert went out 💔 It took him several days to adjust… And if we’re being truthful, it’s taking us time to adjust too 🙏
These babies come into our homes and our lives as one of our very own. Whether they’re with us for a month or for years, letting them go is never as easy as some may think. It’s happiness, sadness, joy, and heartbreak all wrapped into one moment 🥹💗
They leave a space behind when they go. They become part of our routines, our families, our prayers, and our hearts. They make such a huge impact on our lives, more than they could ever realize… And so often, I truly believe they save us more than we ever save them 🥺🙏🐾
There were so many times we could have transferred Bert and some of our other long-term babies to rescue partners. We cried! We prayed! We questioned whether we were making the right decision by continuing to wait.
But God knew we couldn’t do it 🙏
He had a plan for Bert too 🧎🏻♀️➡️🧎🏻♀️➡️🧎🏻♀️➡️
So we waited as patiently as Bertie Boy did. And through it all, Bert remained the same happy, well-behaved, goofy, loving boy he has always been 💗🐾
We knew somewhere out there was a very special family meant just for him.
And finally… they found him 😭🙏🏡
Arlo is now enjoying every second of having a family of his very own. He gets to spend his days with the kiddos, cuddle on the couch, soak up all the love, and finally knows what it feels like to truly belong 💗
A family who chose him…
A family who gave him a chance…
A family who will never give up on him 🥹🙏🐾
We are so incredibly thankful to his family for welcoming us into their home and allowing us to spend that time together. Driving away was so much harder than I can explain 💔 I felt like I was leaving one of my own children behind… 🥺
Believe it or not, that is one of the hardest parts of rescue.
You pray for this day. You share their faces over and over, hoping someone will finally see what you see in them…
And then the day finally comes, and your heart has to learn how to let them go 😭💗
We love you so much, Bertie Boy 🥹🐾
We miss you more than you will ever know, but seeing you happy, loved, and finally HOME makes every tear worth it.
Go live your very best life, Arlo 💗🏡🐾
You waited so patiently…
It was finally your turn 😭🙌🙏
And to every single person who shared Bert’s story, commented, prayed, supported him through the years, and helped keep his story out there… THANK YOU 💗
Because you shared him, his family was able to see him. And because they saw him… Bertie Boy finally went home 🥹🙏🐾🏡

UPDATE: 6/14/26
Maverick will be at Main Street Animal Hospital
🙏🐾 UPDATE ON INJURED PUPPY 🐾🙏
He is home with us and resting tonight 💔🐾 We have pain and nausea medication to keep him as comfortable, and we will be contacting the veterinary clinic first thing in the morning to get him evaluated and determine the next steps for his injured leg 🙏
His injured leg is tremendously swollen compared to his other leg, and he yelps when we try to move him or when the area is touched 💔 From what we are seeing, we believe his leg is broken, but we will not know the severity or extent of the injury until he is examined and X-rays are completed.
Our partnered veterinary clinic is:
🏥 Main Street Animal Hospital
📍 2306 N. Main Street

If you would like to help with his medical care, monetary donations can be gifted through any of the links below. We also need to get this sweet baby a comfortable bed and some additional supplies while he rests and begins this journey with us 🥺💗🙏

Tonight, he is safe. He is resting. And he is no longer out there hurting alone 💗🐾🙏
Thank you for helping us say YES when he needed someone the most. 💙
UPDATE: 6/13/26
Our daughter is on the way to pick him up🙏
🚨💔 VICTORIA, TEXAS — THIS KIDDO NEEDS HELP 💔🚨
This baby has reportedly been roaming the streets for the past few weeks. Families in the area believe he may have been dumped… and now he is injured 😢💔
From what we can see, it appears he may have been hit by a vehicle and has a badly injured or broken leg. We would not know the full extent of his injuries until he is examined by a veterinarian, but one thing is very clear…
He is hurting and needs help 🥺🙏
Everyone who contacted us about him this afternoon has already reached out to local rescues, adoption centers, and animal services. Many of them were given our information and told to contact us as usual 😭💔
We want to say YES!!! We want to get him off the streets and get him help.
But we have to be transparent… Our funding is critically low, and we already have so many other rescues depending on us every single day, including several long-term medical cases 💔
Injuries like this often result in amputation 😰 These surgeries can run around $1,500 or more, followed by medications, follow-up care, and weeks of recovery.
🏡 We would absolutely prefer and deeply appreciate a committed medical foster for this baby. We have many others in our care, and having someone step up to give him a quiet, safe place to recover would be an incredible blessing 🙏💗
But please know…
We don’t mind the vet visits…
We don’t mind the sleepless nights…
We don’t mind the medications, baths, cleaning, or the long road to recovery…
We do it every DAY 💔🐾
We are always willing to do the work 🥺
We just have so many others depending on us right now, and we desperately need help carrying the weight 😭💔🙏
Our biggest fear is saying yes and then not having the funding to give him everything he needs!
We cannot pay these medical bills with love alone 💔
🙏 WE NEED DONATIONS
🏡 WE WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL FOR A MEDICAL FOSTER
🐾 WE NEED SHARES AND PRAYERS
Even $5, $10, or $20 adds up. Every donation helps us get closer to being able to step in, get this baby off the streets, and get him the medical care he desperately needs 🙏💔
If you can foster, please complete our application below ASAP 💗🐾

🐾❤️ SCARLETT, NOW APACHE — HER HAPPY ENDING ❤️🐾
On April 27, 2026, we welcomed Scarlett into Paws4Christ Animal Rescue after she was abandoned at a business here in Victoria, Texas. For several weeks, she survived by sleeping underneath the business’s outdoor units on the scorching hot pavement, waiting for someone to notice her.
Thankfully, the wonderful employees made sure she had food and fresh water every day. One morning, while I was working in that area, I saw her and instantly knew we had to help.
At the time, we had absolutely no room to bring her home, no available foster, and no open kennel space in our indoor facility. Scarlett spent about a week boarding at Main Street Animal Hospital while we worked as quickly as we could to make room for her. We are incredibly grateful to the entire team at Main Street Animal Hospital for not only completing all of Scarlett’s vetting, but also for loving on her, caring for her, and giving her hope during such a difficult time in her life. Their compassion made such a difference while she waited for her next chapter to begin 💗
We are also so incredibly thankful to Tracie Swanson, who stepped in during that time, opened her heart and home, loved Scarlett, and reminded her that not all humans would let her down.
Then, just a few days later—before we were even scheduled to bring her home—God had a different plan.
We received a message, followed by an adoption application. After completing a home visit, we knew this family was something special. The moment Scarlett walked through their gate, it was as if she already knew.
She was home 😭
And deep in our hearts, we knew it too ❤️
Those were her people 🙏
That very day, Scarlett found her forever family 🙌
While so many of our rescues wait months—and sometimes even years—for someone to choose them, Scarlett was adopted within just weeks of coming into rescue. What an incredible blessing and a beautiful reminder that God’s timing is always perfect. He was watching over her every step of the way 🙏
Today, Scarlett—now lovingly named Apache—is living the life every doggie deserves.
She is deeply loved, completely spoiled, and surrounded by people who adore her. She spends time with neighbors and family, enjoys the safety and comfort of a real home, and gets to simply be a happy pup.
The sparkle in her eyes says everything words cannot. She is beautiful, had a spirit full of joy, and finally living the life she was always meant to have.
It breaks our hearts to think that someone abandoned such an incredible dog—or any animal. Sadly, there are still so many others waiting, hoping someone will choose them too.
Every adoption saves a life 🙌
Not only because one dog finds a forever home—but because it opens a space for us to rescue another… and another… and another 🐾
We are beyond grateful to Apache’s amazing family for giving her the forever home she deserved, to Main Street Animal Hospital for providing exceptional veterinary care and surrounding her with kindness, to Tracie Swanson for loving her during those first important days, and to every single one of you who supports our mission through fostering, adopting, donating, volunteering, praying, sharing our posts, and believing in what God is doing through this rescue.
We always want to be transparent about the work we do, and one of our greatest joys is sharing these beautiful happy endings with all of you. They remind us that even after heartbreak, hope is possible.
Thank you for standing beside us, praying for us, and helping us continue to save lives—one precious soul at a time.
To God be all the glory ❤️🙏
