Victoria Open Mic

Victoria Public Library's "No Pressure Book Club" was a fun experience last night!

I think a total of 9 people showed up, and we all had a great discussion about books we read that had unreliable narrators.

I ended up writing down a few that I wanted to check our later.

I am looking forward to next months. I already know what book I plan on reading. It's one that has been sitting on my shelf for a long time, mocking me for not ever finishing it. It's 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' by Mark Haddon. I think it will fit next months theme.

So yeah.. If you love books, reading them and talking about them, then you should definitely come out to the next one!

They made me feel very welcomed as a new arrival too. Everyone was so friendly and receptive. 😁
