55 Glass

Cracked, Crackle, Krackle or Shatter Top glass, whatever you may wish to call it, has a beautiful effect. Our Crackle glass is made by laminating three pieces of 1/4" glass with the middle piece tempered and then broken. That is why Crackle glass is just over 3/4" thick. For an even more interesting look, low iron glass may be used. Please see below and our portfolio for pictures.

Are the corners square or rounded? The corners on all custom cut glass will have dulled 90 degree angles unless advised otherwise. On some furniture there may be a radius on some or all of the corners. If so, please go to How To Figure A Radius Corner Dimension and tell us the radius size. Generally radius corners adds $20 to the 1/4" glass price.

To figure a radius corner, use a piece of paper and run one edge along one edge of the furniture (A in the example) and the other edge along the other edge (C in the example). Now simply mark the paper where the radius begins and measure to the corner of the paper.
