Our tech guru and favorite person all around has been a loving Venice community member for most of his life. He’s got a great sense of humor and is the most welcoming individual! Every week you can catch him at BB caring for the space and in the sound booth of the Wanda Coleman Theater making sure operations and tech gear are top notch for all programming! In celebration of Pride month at Beyond Baroque, join us for a day-long festival of poetry, music, art, and community celebrating the legacy of Federico García Lorca!

The afternoon will feature readings of Lorca’s poetry, prose, as well as original poems inspired by his work in the Wanda Coleman Theater; featuring Lois P. Jones, Elena Barcia, Valeryee Jimenez, Adrian Ibarra, Iván Salinas, and Duncan Cuervo, followed by live spanish guitar in partnership with La Sole Flamenco, an open mic to celebrate your favorite q***r poets, and a mini art market featuring independent artists and craft makers including Teaden, Hope Cerna, Faery Church, and more vendors to be announced!
