Who we Are:
Weeks Machine Shop is a welding, fabricating and machining inclusive shop in Venice, Florida. We make just about everything from metal gates and signs to motorcycle parts and robotics prototypes.

About the role:
We’re looking for a self-starter with drive and ambition to help us keep up with our company’s recent growth. We want someone who will take ownership over their job and show up every day wanting to get stuff done.
�
This is an entry-level role with room for growth starting at $15 an hour. We prioritize applicants with experience in fast-paced work environments and a history of showing up every day ready to work.

You will be trained on every task, and the overall goal is for you to become self-sufficient enough to do your job without being micromanaged.
�
Typical daily tasks include:
1. Running a roll form machine (we will train you!)
2. Keeping the shop running smoothly. This includes maintenance, miscellaneous tasks, cutting material, cleaning tasks, etc… There is also room for a skilled worker to eventually learn more skills including welding and machining (dependent on applicant)
3. Assisting shop manager and business owner with day-to-day tasks to keep on track with more longterm goals
