Our cases with Grant and Viramontes were granted cert today (meaning they will be making a decision in the future, which may take up to a year). SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb had this to say: “Lawmakers have long relied on fearmongering to pass laws that infringe on the Second Amendment, especially when it comes to common, semi-automatic rifles. We’re hopeful the Court will finally put to rest the idea that these rifles are not covered by the Second Amendment simply because of their look and features. AR bans are headed to the Supreme Court next term!

SCOTUS has accepted the Viramontes’s AR ban out of Illinois. It will be heard next term and will be an overwhelming victory incoming for the Second Amendment. Recent decisions by SCOTUS, Heller, Bruen, Wolford...all that language is stacked up to crush platform bans across the board.

Mag Bans, Gators and Duncan - no action. Will likely be held over until a decision in Viramontes is released. That decision will likely tell the lower courts, in short order. You're wrong, stop messing around and following the direction we have provided you.
