I have been thinking about this lately…

Why do we eat?

It sounds like a simple question, but I am not sure we ask it often enough.

Do we eat just to make our stomach full?

Do we eat only to lose weight? Gain muscle? Follow a food plan?

Of course food can help us reach those goals. But I think Nourish goes deeper than that.

Imagine you are hungry and tired. You grab something quick. Your stomach is full, but an hour later you are hungry again. Or sleepy. Your brain feels foggy. It is hard to focus on work, study, or even enjoy a conversation.

On the other hand, some people try so hard to lose weight that they do not eat enough. They have no energy to move, think, create, or enjoy life.

That makes me wonder...

What if the purpose of food is not simply to fill us up or make the scale move?

What if food is information for our body?

What if food is energy for our brain, our muscles, our mood, our sleep, and our future self?

For me, Nourish means having enough energy to move my body, think clearly, learn new things, do meaningful work, sleep well, and wake up ready for another day.

Not every meal needs to be perfect.

But every meal is an opportunity to support the life we want to live.

I would love to hear your thoughts.

Why do YOU eat?

What does Nourish mean to you?

A few weeks ago, Andrew and I launched a new wellness community built around four pillars that support a healthy, balanced life:

✨ Move
🥗 Nourish
🌿 Recover
❤️ Connect

Yesterday we started our 6-Week Reset Challenge, but the good news is that you can join anytime.

This week is all about movement.

Our bodies were designed to move, but modern life gives us many reasons to stay still. Movement does not have to mean an intense workout or hours at the gym.

It can be a strength training session, a walk around the block, stretching while dinner is cooking, gardening, dancing in the kitchen, or simply getting up from your chair more often.

The goal this week is not to exercise perfectly.

The goal is to move your body a little more than usual and to do it consistently.

To help you get started, we recorded movement tutorials with Coach Ginger that are available inside the community.

I'm curious—what has movement looked like for you this week?

If you would like to join our new wellness community and access the challenge, movement tutorials, and support from others on the same journey, send me a DM and I'll send you the link.

One client walked into Recovery Space moving slowly, carefully — lower back pain had been following him for a long time. After a few hyperbaric and red light sessions, he looked at me and said quietly, “I don’t feel that pain anymore.” One client also shared that her acupuncturist noticed improvement and mentioned that the needles could now go deeper.

Another client told me her energy started coming back after only a couple sessions. Not the jittery kind from caffeine… real energy. The kind that lets you cook dinner, go for a walk, call a friend, and still feel like yourself at the end of the day.

One woman shared that she finally slept deeply again. Another client came every day for 5 days after knee surgery, and his surgeon was genuinely surprised how quickly he recovered. One more client stayed consistent through hyperbaric sessions, and little by little the tingling and numbness started reducing.

Different stories. Different bodies. Different healing timelines.

But there is something they all remind me of — the body truly wants to heal when we give it support, oxygen, rest, consistency, and patience.

I feel deeply grateful to witness these moments at Recovery Space every week. Quiet victories… but very meaningful ones.

Yesterday I almost skipped my reformer practice.

I felt tired, a little heavy, and honestly not very motivated… but I stepped onto the reformer anyway.

Just a few gentle movements and breathwork in the fitness room.

After everything I’ve experienced, I truly believe health is often built in very small moments — the quiet choices nobody sees.

To nourish.
To move.
To recover.
To connect.

Not perfectly. Just consistently, kindly, honestly.

Small choices become a life. 🤍
