This one simple setup can reduce meltdowns before they even start.

A calm-down corner gives your child a safe space to regulate instead of escalate.

It doesn’t have to be fancy, just intentional:
• soft seating or a pillow
• a favorite calming item
• sensory tools (fidget, weighted item, etc.)
• low lighting or a quiet space

The goal isn’t isolation, it’s support.

💬 Does your child have a space like this at home?

If meltdowns seem to come out of nowhere, this might explain why.

We just published a new blog:
“Big Feelings Aren’t Bad”

Inside, we break down:
• what’s really happening during a meltdown
• why escalation happens
• what actually helps in the moment

This is for parents who feel stuck between “do something” and “what do I even do?”

💬 Does this reflect what you’ve been seeing at home?

This 10-minute habit builds more confidence than most reward charts.

Try setting aside 10 minutes of uninterrupted “special time.”

No correcting.
No teaching.
No multitasking.

Just following your child’s lead in play.

When children feel fully seen and connected, confidence grows naturally.

💬 Could you try this once this week?

Independence doesn’t grow from pressure.
It grows from support that slowly steps back.

Confidence builds when children feel:
• safe trying
• supported when frustrated
• allowed to struggle without shame

You don’t have to push harder.
You just have to support wisely.

💬 Where does your child need a little more support right now? Mornings, transitions, or routines?
