For this special Monday edition of CJ’s Corner, there is no better way to wrap up 2025 than by recognizing a member of our Eugene team who truly embodies what C&E is all about.

We’re excited to celebrate Matt Long, who has been a valued part of our team for 9 years and counting. Over nearly a decade, Matt has helped build a solid, dependable team around him and consistently brings a great attitude to work every day.

As someone who is steady, hardworking, and team focused, Matt is someone you can always count on. He leads by example, supports those around him, and plays a big role in keeping things running smoothly. Whether tackling challenges head on or helping a teammate succeed, Matt approaches everything with professionalism and a positive mindset.

We’re grateful for Matt’s long term commitment, leadership, and the energy he brings to our workplace. His dedication truly makes a difference, and we’re proud to have him as part of our team.

When he isn’t working, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the great outdoors. He also recently welcomed the perfect little addition to his family!

CJ’s Corner.

We’re kicking off a new monthly series from our Eugene location. On the last Friday of each month, our newest store manager CJ Johnson will share a highlight from his team, whether it's an awesome moment, a team member spotlight, or something else worth celebrating. We want to bring you more of the great work our employees are doing.

This month’s spotlight is on James Moxley and CJ writes:

"We’re excited to shine this month’s employee spotlight on James Moxley, one of our dedicated service team members here in the Eugene shop!

James has been with us for 4 years, and in that time, he’s become known for his positive attitude, reliable work ethic, and willingness to go the extra mile for our customers. Whether he’s troubleshooting an issue or simply offering a helping hand, James brings a can-do spirit that makes a big difference every day.

Thanks for all you do, James. We really appreciate you!"

In his spare time, James enjoys wrenching on hobby cars. Check him out with his current project, an 83' Malibu. We definitely love seeing his skilled passion in and outside of C&E.

Out on the road, our field service truck intersects with one of our delivery trucks. A small moment that says a lot about the way our team works together to support customers from every angle.

Meet Bill Mateace, our newest CDL driver out of the Vancouver store. Bill brings decades of experience to the team and has known several of our crew for many years through his more than 20 years in the rental industry.

He is one of the best on the road. Meticulous, detailed, safety conscious, and always professional with customers. Bill takes real pride in what he does and it shows in every delivery.

When he is off the clock, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their pup. They love to travel and are always up for the next cruise.

We are thrilled to welcome Bill to the C&E team and excited to have someone with his experience, care, and professionalism out on the road with us.
