Over the years, I have changed and my understandings have shifted. I have gone through deep transitions within my life. We are born to do that. Life is process - life is transition. Nothing remains the same, with or without our willingness to flow. Now is such a time of transition for our entire planet. Will you walk steady and strong, open your mind, attune to the inner wisdom of your body? Or will you be dragged along, thrashing out at what is presenting, grasping for what no longer exists?

That’s the thing about transition ... what has ended has ended and there is no going back. What is to come, has not yet manifested, leaving you caught in the inbetweenness of not knowing how to navigate the strange and unseen elements of liminality. We are there, wandering around between what has ended, and not knowing what is to come. It is a time to get comfortable with being massively uncomfortable, time to attune to what is forming, and time to attune to the wisdom of nature, the heavens above, and the inner depths of your own body/being.

We are in this together. We are not separate any more than the trees in the forest. If one tree is suffering, the rhizomic matrix of the forest floor, a brilliant world of connectivity and community below the ground, sends the nutrients to that single tree who needs to be healed so that it may thrive. If that tree needs more sunlight, the surrounding trees yield to that other, creating space for the sun to reach the needing tree’s branches. Trees know there is enough sunlight and nutrients for all the forest. We would do well to take our lead from the natural world. In my humble opinion, now is the time to think on these things.
