Growing up, I did a lot on my own - sports alone, homework alone. I don’t think it was a negative experience. My parents were always working to ensure I had food and shelter. There is no resentment; I know my parents were there for us, working hard. Now, as an adult and a parent, I understand their sacrifices. While they may have felt awful, that was just how my childhood was, and it wasn’t bad, just lonely.

I believe it is a privilege to attend all your kids’ activities, a beautiful one. It shouldn’t be a privilege, but it is. If you have enough money to skip work for your kids without worrying about your mortgage, you are blessed.

I share all of this because, despite spending much of my childhood alone, I have learned to accept help. I often hear people say, “I’ve always done it on my own,” and they remain in the same mindset. “I got me.” Like oookay buddy….

I will be the first to admit I learn every day how to become better. I had to ask for help outside of Jesus 😉

In my business, I had to change that individual mentality in order to grow, and it has been healing and rewarding. The last slide explains everything I am trying to convey, and I want to emphasize that DUNIA is a brand, but I am my brand.

Everything you see here, you get in person. Now, you get to see who runs DUNIA, and it’s not just me. First up, my admin team - thank you both for creating systems that allow me to improve and constantly challenge me!
