Smooth Threads

PDO Smooth Threads are biodegradable, absorbable and made of polydioxanone. Smooth threads are not made for lifting and sculpting, they are inserted below the skin to elicit a mild injury, in which the body responds to by adding structural proteins such as COLLEGEN, fibrin, and elastin. Resulting in a smoother, plumper, wrinkle free appearance.

Smooth threads can be used anywhere on the face or body. Treatment areas vary between glabella, lateral cantus (crows feet), cheeks, nasolabial folds, lips, oral commisures, marionette lines, neck lines, chest, etc.

Treatment conditions include: acne scars, hyper/hypopigmentation, thinning and belittling skin, wrinkles, etc.

Smooth threads will dissolve in 6-8 weeks, best results are seen within 2-3 months. Multiple treatments are recommended 2-3 months apart for ultimate results.
