I am selling a fresh brand new build Mopar 426 Hemi.
This is NOT a crate engine it is a custom build NEW engine built by legendary Hemi Guru Jim Hale.
This started as a new bare 426 Hemi unmachined block.
This is a correct appearing Mopar “M” block and is NOT a World Block!
These blocks were sold unmachined to racers back in 90-92.
They were only partially machined with unfinished bores and no lifter holes.
Jim machined all lifter bores and then they were all bronze bushed. All bores were custom finished. Line bore was finalized and all deck surfaced squared.
This is the super meticulous custom machine work that is never done with a generic “crate” engine.
All internals are new, block brand new, brand new steel 8 bolt Hemi crank, new h beam rods, new pistons, new Edelbrock heads with custom valve job, new valve springs, new Comp Cams true solid lifter cam with REAL NOS Mopar lifters, rebuild stock stock rocker arms.
Everything is standard bore, standard crank, etc.
The carburetors are brand new 750 Edelbrock units that have been custom jetted to match the intake and cam combination.
The intake is a 55 year old vintage Edelbrock Rat Roadster that has been modified by Jim to make a flatter torque curve.
There is only dyno time and the engine made 505 hp and 489 torque and had a lot more if you wanted to turn it up higher.
The block and tin were painted in epoxy sealer then ppg Hemi orange base clear.
It was balanced using a thin harmonic balancer to you can use the cheaper wedge pulleys.
The price is 32,500 and I am located in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Fresh built 426 Hemi just back from a custom build by Legendary Hemi expert Jim Hale.
This is the factory original engine from the 1966 Hemi Charger we are restoring.
It is a 100% stock rebuild and did an honest 425 on the dyno.
Next is to get it on a stand, paint and detail.

Back on the 1966 Hemi Charger.
This car has been sitting in epoxy for several months.
We had stripped this car to bare steel and had to acid wash and prep every inch of the exterior body.
Decades ago when the car was painted it was sanded to bare steel and then left to surface rust before being buried in old, cheap primer. The ONLY way to properly address this is to acid wash, metal treat and then seal in a good quality direct to metal epoxy. You cannot prime over rust it WILL come back!
Now it is time to start addressing all the old “bodywork” that needs properly done.

68 Cougar getting some color happening. Only the back of the hood today but a couple more weeks and it will be all painted. Beautiful candy brandywine pearl and I cannot wait to see it on the car body!
77 Bronco is almost done just fitting the new top then glass. This was a total build from scratch and I will post detailed pictures next week when finished.
