Please welcome the newest member of our team, Officer Glenn Lucore. Officer Lucore was hired through our Lateral Transfer Program, and he brings ten years of law enforcement experience to the Department.

Congratulations to Detective Joseph Ferrando on his well-deserved promotion to Patrol Sergeant. Joe has been with our Department for 13 years, and he has served the last 6 years as one of our Detectives. Joe is also a Range Officer, member of our Honor Guard, and the Department P.I.O. We wish him great success in the next chapter of his career.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Lorain Police Department and the family of Officer Phillip Wagner. The murder of Officer Wagner and the wounding of two other officers is a tragedy that will never be forgotten.
