I always have travel insurance — and yes, I buy an ANNUAL PLAN. Because the way I travel? It just makes sense. 💁‍♀️

Good Friday (April 3, 2026 - Not federal but common): Use a day before or after for a 4-day break.

Memorial Day (Monday, May 25): Take Friday, May 22 for a long weekend.

Juneteenth (Friday, June 19): Take Monday, June 22 for a 4-day break.

Independence Day (Saturday, July 4): Take Friday, July 3 for a long weekend.

Labor Day (Monday, Sept 7): Take Friday, Sept 4 for a 4-day break.

Veterans Day (Wednesday, Nov 11): Take Thursday, Nov 12 & Friday, Nov 13 for a 5-day break.

Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov 26): Take Friday, Nov 27 for a 4-day break.

Christmas (Friday, Dec 25): Combine with New Year's (Jan 1, 2027) for a long stretch.
