The facts: Midnight Storm, a.k.a. Stormy, is a 6yo 13.2h (sticked) grade Morgan pony mare whose theme song should be Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-A-Lot. As the kids say, she is THICC. Also, check out her epic forelock! In addition to her excellent chonk factor, Stormy has several amazing traits that her future bestie will appreciate. 🔥

🏆 The great: Stormy walks, trots, canters, and jumps cross rails, and she has jumped single fences to 2'. She is the perfect horse to get someone going in the local shows. Trails are 100% her jam, and she has incredibly smooth gaits. Want to practice your sitting trot? Piece of cake. Need to up your equitation game? Stormy is uncomplicated, and that means riders can really refine their position and technique. Stormy has been camping at Montaña de Oro State Park, and she was totally unfazed by everything. She has been to gymkhanas, and she has dreams of trying all sorts of different things with her future best friend/platonic soul mate. Her trailering skills are top notch, she is barefoot and utterly perfect for the farrier, and she is up to date on everything. She adores being groomed and wants you to use the curry comb on her special spots for hours. Maybe even days. She deserves it, ok? I mean, she IS the barn favorite.

👀 The key details: I did say she is a warrior princess, right? Stormy is definitely the alpha in any group when there's food around. She is popular with the boys, but doesn't take any of their funny business. Stormy has to eat grass hay only, since Morgans are notorious for developing metabolic syndrome and we don't want her natural thicc-ness becoming an issue. She also eats Hygain Zero (no sugar/no starch) for the same reason.

💁 What Stormy is not: Stormy thinks fancy A-show model classes are for other ponies. She's not here to win a beauty contest...she is here to show you how big b***y girls run the world. She does not have auto lead changes, but she is starting to figure her changes out. If you or your trainer can help her keep learning them, great. If not, no big deal. While Stormy is a kick ride when in regular work (4-6 days per week), she is also not a machine. She will give scary things a good solid side-eye, but her main response is to stop and stare. Remember, the warrior princess must size up potential threats to see if she can take them. The answer is that yes, she can always take them after she stares them down (and when she knows her person is there with her). 💪

Stormy is also NOT for sale. She is available for LEASE to a person with a trainer and/or references. On-site lease with optional lessons from USHJA credentialed trainer in Valley Center, CA available.
