It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Please do not forget that your mental health is just as important as your physical health.❤️‍🩹

The theme for 2024 — Empowering Social Workers! — speaks to the need for government, regulators, and employers to work to improve pay for social workers as a way to address challenging social issues. Increasing salaries for social workers invests in the professionals trained to address social issues.

The GSWO donated over 1,000 diapers and 296 baby wipes to The Haven!🕊️Thank you for all of your generous contributions to our diaper drive this past weekend.

As in honor of Veterans Day, the GSWO hosted a Veterans Canned Food Drive for 90Works. We were able to collect and donate a total of 100 canned goods! We want to thank all veterans for their service. We also want to thank everyone who donated to the Veterans Canned Food Drive. 🇺🇸

This past Saturday, the GSWO hosted two special guest speakers, Yurshema Flanders, Director and Amy Draper, Director of Fundraising from The Lamp.🤍

Those who attended had the opportunity to learn more about The LAMP and their services for those experiencing homelessness. We want to thank everyone who donated clothes and blankets for those in need.✨

In honor of our Veterans, GSWO is partnering with 90Works and hosting a Canned Food Drive this Veteran's Day, Saturday November 11th.

90Works is a non-profit organization that provides services to homeless veterans.

GSWO Members who bring three or more canned goods can count this toward their participation for grad cords.
