For parents with teens
Positive parenting is an effective approach to raising teenagers The challenge is to provide a home environment that guides and supports teens as they strive to become independent, well-adjusted young adults. This means finding ways to deal with conflict that may occur when the views of parent and teen differ The effort required, though sometimes difficult, can lead to a closer more rewarding relationship between teen and parent. Strategies will be shared and ideas discussed.

Positive parenting is an effective approach to raising children. It involves creating a family environment that is loving supportive and predictable. This supports raising healthy, well-adjusted children who have the skills and confidence they need to succeed at school and with their relationships with others. We will share why, kids do what they do, share parenting strategies and discuss ideas on how to use positive parenting.
