Has it been a decade already??

Today marks the 10 year anniversary of when I entered the Ral Estate industry. I can't believe it's been a decade, where has the time gone?

I had recently been laid off from a corporate job, on unemployment, moved to a new city, didn't know anyone and starting over trying to build a brand new life.

Fortunately, I was given a shot at a the #1 local boutique brokerage with zero knowledge of Real Estate. Everything was foreign. Everything was overwhelming, like learning a new language. The vocabulary, who's who and who does what throughout a transaction?

But I'm so grateful to those who played a part in giving me a start. They saw something in me and gave me a chance.
And especially grateful to my husband who gave me strength and got me through the challenging time of being laid off and feeling like a failure.

Now here I stand, owning my own transaction management business, and it all became possible from the humble beginnings on February 1st 2016.

So here's my reminder to anyone that needs to hear it, that you can do anything you set your mind to, even if you don't think you're worth it, or that it's possible for you, just keep at it.

Take others' belief in you and use it until you believe in yourself.

"Top Production TC" is now "Tranquil TC".

I'm excited to announce this new change as it reflects growth in my business and suits this season of my life.

With every transaction, my intention is always to relieve the stress and pressure of managing those "pesky" details so that you as a Realtor can focus on your clients and on growing your business.

I will continue to bring tranquility and peace of mind to your transactions and look forward to our continued partnerships.

One of my recent intentions has been to read more books.
Historically, I have not made this a priority because I get so distracted, so easily. If it doesn't grab my attention within the first couple sentences, I read and re-read the same things over until I get bored and frustrated and say peace out.
BUT focus and discipline can be learned and developed, so I'm committing to the practice.

Three books completed so far this month, and I highly recommend them all. Diving into the next tonight... 👊🏻👏🏻📚📖

One way I decided to stay accountable is by joining a book club, which is something I never in a million years thought I'd do. My sister was always the bookworm, I was the creative... now I get to be both 🤩🤓

Audiobook tip: Listen at an accelerated speed to stay engaged. Bonus... you finish faster that way, too, lol
