Every project teaches us something, and one of the expectations we place on ourselves is to make sure those lessons don't stop with the people who discovered them.

Whether it's reviewing code, whiteboarding a new approach, or helping a teammate think through a difficult problem, knowledge sharing is part of how we deliver better outcomes for our clients. Everyone benefits when experience moves freely across the team, and that's something we've intentionally built into our culture.

Wishing everyone a safe and joyful Fourth of July! As America celebrates its 250th birthday, we're thankful for the freedoms that bring us together, the opportunities they create, and the people who have helped preserve them for generations. Happy Independence Day from all of us at Source Allies!

June had a little bit of everything, and looking back, it captured many of the things that make Source Allies special.

We continued bringing the local technology community together by hosting three user groups. From our teammate Whitney's presentation on effective team chartering at DSM Web Geeks to discussions around AI in DevOps and hands-on Python challenges, we stayed busy with people learning, asking questions, and sharing ideas. We welcomed our summer apprentices, and it has been great watching them jump into real projects, build relationships, and start their professional journeys.

Learning didn't stop with our meetups. Our teammate Elias added a new episode to our Technically Speaking series, walking through PostgreSQL containers and sharing knowledge that developers can put to work right away.

Our Food & Friends event gave us an opportunity to step away from our desks and catch up over a meal, while our annual Hot Source challenge once again proved that some teammates have a much higher tolerance for spicy than the rest of us.

Our DSM Corporate Games teams kept the momentum going throughout the month. Whether competing on the court, the track, or cheering one another on, it's been fun to see teammates representing Source Allies beyond the office.

June also brought an honor we're especially proud of. Source Allies was recognized as a Top Workplace, an award that reflects the people who make this company what it is every day. Great technology is built by great teams, and we're excitedl to work alongside teammates who are curious, supportive, and committed to helping one another succeed.

As we close out the first half of the year, we're looking forward to carrying that same energy into the rest of 2026!

Every team has a preferred way to get applications into production, and the right answer often depends on the goals, constraints, and complexity of the system.

What approach are your teams using most often today?

We'd love to hear what has worked well for your team and what lessons you've learned along the way!
