This course uses non-lethal marking ammunition as you engage live role-players. Work through a variety of scenarios that require you to use good judgment and marksmanship.

Introduction to Structures - Sparrow Defense This 1-day / 10 hour course will not make you into a SWAT operator. This course WILL provide the student with a fundamental skill set for working doorways, hallways, rooms, and transitional spaces. The course will also incorporate threat identification and engagement in low light environments. These

Low Light Pistol will close out our 2023 season this coming Saturday, December 9th.

Class runs from 12p-10p.

Course content includes classroom and range work supporting shooting in low / no-light environments:
- Seeing in lit vs. low/no-light conditions
- Types of flashlights and their relative strengths
- Hand held and weapon mounted light techniques
- Using a light inside a structure

Range exercises will be performed in daylight conditions before breaking for dinner. After returning to the range, students will perform shooting drills and solve problems in dusk and then dark conditions using handheld and weapons mounted lights.

After the live-fire portion of the class is over, we move into the shoot house using SIRT pistols to demonstrate how the structure changes how lights work when conducting searches or performing shooting tasks.
