I say this all the time. Motivation doesn’t last, the habits you build over time is what keeps you pushing to be better.

People think because I’m a health coach I love training and eating healthy. Actually, on the contrary, since I’m around it pretty much 24/7, it’s hard to muster the energy to do what I have to do on a regular basis.

We are humans, and us humans are not perfect. That’s one of the big reasons we look for progress, not perfection.

Over the past 10+ years of working out and eating “healthy,” I have consistently practiced habit after habit to make this my lifestyle.

When you want to become healthier overall, you have to look at this as something you do for the long run. Success doesn’t happen over night, it’s the hours and days you put in to become successful 💪

😔Some studies say exercise can help manage depression. In theory, this is worth a try—but in reality, when you’re depressed, motivation is almost impossible to muster. Heck, just getting out of bed is a victory some days.⁣⁣⁣⁠

But here’s one simple yet effective strategy you can try to get you moving: take it one step at a time.⁣⁣⁣⁠
