Also as far as venues can’t say enough good things about Abby’s Farm. We had this airstream, a mobile coffee bar, and a big cotton candy cart all with plenty of room left to do other set ups. HIGHLY recommend any engaged couples touring before making your decision 💕

As everyone knows by this point bc I’m annoying this Wednesday me and Jenna from hosted a styled shoot. It was my first and in complete transparency I was TERRIFIED. For anyone but especially running your own business, failure is terrifying. I’m by no means established in the photography community, scrap a gallery and start from scratch at least once a week bc I feel like my work is crap, and when we toured the venue and decided to make the event even bigger quite frankly I didn’t think I could pull it off. Two weeks after posting and we only had one ticket sale I almost called it off.
When crying to husband one night he said “the worst that happens is you fail and learn” and he said it like failing was NOTHING.
Continued working my tail off for it and we ended up having over 10 photographers attend on a weekday traveling from Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia with over 30 attendees including models and vendors and at the end of the night people were asking when the NEXT one was 😱
Literally mind blown and so thankful for the support system I have, the friends I made, and my new styled shoot partner Jenna 😘
Moral of the story: if you have a dream, DO THE D #%^ THING, the worst that’ll happen is you fail and learn and try again💕

Sometimes I feel like I have to post the most technical photos as far as sharpness, lighting, and check all the imaginary photographer boxes I’ve made for myself as I know most others do....
However there was so much perfect in the imperfect parts of this where the was so much movement happening there was also so much joy ✨
