Save the HARVEST FESTIVAL 2023 Date: Saturday, October 7, noon till dusk at the Wild Raspberry Orchard. It looks like we will have a decent crop (if the deer don't get too greedy). Once again we will have the full experience of cider pressing, ice-cream churning (on a bike likely), pizza in brick oven (heated with apple wood), Ruth's scrumshus apple pies, picking organic apples, games, sharing of organic agricultural techniques and some live music (counting on volunteers). The organizations that the proceeds will go for–efforts and organizations working for sustainability, peace, justice—will be announced as time gets closer. We hope to see you.

The Harvest Festival is on this year. We have a great crop and the apples are quite nice. Put October 9th, 2021 on your calendar noon to 7 pm (EST). As usual we are looking for volunteers including station support (cider press and apple prep, ice-cream bike, pizza oven, popcorn kettle, musicians/performers, games, setup/take down, etc.). Vaccination (for all able to by age) required and masks around places where there is close proximity.
Due to poor crop and the Covid pandemic we aren't having a harvest fest this year.

Its looking good this year. Most of the trees have apples that look good. The weather was cold but warm enough that our bees were able to pollinate them. Using organic repellants (Kaolin clay and cayenne pepper) and biological controls has been working. We are planning the HARVEST FESTIVAL FOR OCTOBER 5, 2019. We'll keep you posted. Consider volunteering (set up, helping one of stations, music performance or clean up).
No harvest fest this year. Sorry, crop failure. Climate change? Seemingly either an April frost or a Spring that was so cold that pollinators didn't come out of their hives/nests. Next year we hope.
No festival this year due to crop failure due to weather. Next year we hope...
If you want our organic apples we'll be at the North Park Farmers Market tomorrow Sunday 10/29 at Kimball and Bryn Mawr in the Peterson Elementary Parking lot from 9 am to 1 pm
