It comes with great pleasure that we announce our newest endeavor at ABDB Designs: an official partnership as the first furniture design & fabrication studio to sign with legendary American rock band, the Grateful Dead.

What began as a commission request from a private client to create a signature wall hanging featuing The Dead’s iconic Steal Your Face logo outlined with upcycled cross-cuts of wood embedded in resin – by way of our patented design technique – evolved into conversations with the band’s representation at Warner Music Experience, and ultimately the collaborative partnership we have today.

Available now, the ABDB Designs x Grateful Dead collection begins with two 24” D wall hangings: a single color Steal Your Face, and a multi-color (up to 3) of organic pigment swirls Steal Your Face, pictured below. Additional customization options include made-to-order pieces of artistic furniture, paneling, wall hangings, and more. Hands On. Hand Made.

Made to Order: one of six custom bistro tables for bespoke speakeasy Chicago.

For this series, BB Chicago's owner decided to go with two original Iris & Atlas end grain designs, in addition to two custom end grain designs for the six tables. Each bistro table was custom colored to flow seamlessly with the rest of the space, and were custom spec'd to 30"D.

Installed when we launched ABDB to the public in June 2018, we love continuously receiving photos from both the staff & patrons alike. Go visit if you're in Chicago and see for yourself!
