These in-person workshops welcome youth and adults with a range of developmental and learning disabilities and those on the autism , together with family and friends. All can enjoy these that include sensory opportunities and art-making activities. These programs are free; registration is required and space is limited. Upcoming autistic friendly event Please join us for Create Ability, The Museum of Modern Art’s program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Participants focus on different themes, explore works on view and in MoMA’s collection, and create artworks together during this interactive program in the Museum’s galleries.

April's theme is Spring Layers. Learn about artists who experiment with layering colors and shapes to make artworks inspired by nature, and create layered paper collages.

In-Person for Kids (ages 5–17)

For onsite programs, COVID-19 vaccination and masks are no longer required at the Museum, but strongly recommended for all visitors.
