Disrespectful behaviour or words are triggering. But if we give back that same attitude to our kids how are we making any difference?? Our job as parents is stay respectful because of who we are and not disrespect our children or someone because they are rude to us. Young children don’t know that their behaviour is insulting of offensive. And it’s on us to teach them how to practice self-control and use better ways to express their emotions and needs. GPA's licensed psychologists and counselors provide school-aged psychological and mental health services. We conduct private psychological evaluations of intellectual disabilities, social and emotional disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism, and more. Although some providers have 7-12 month waits for autism assessments, GPA can conduct assessments within 3-4 weeks.

To meet the needs of working parents, GPA is an appointment-only provider offering evening and weekend services. While GPA accepts several insurance plans, a self-pay option exists for clients without insurance or those desiring an autism evaluation.
