Memorial Day hits differently when you really stop and think about the sacrifices that were made for all of us to live, love, lead, worship, build businesses, raise families, and simply have the freedoms we often take for granted.

Today, I’m choosing gratitude.
Gratitude for the lives that were given.
Gratitude for the families who carry that loss every single day.
And gratitude for the freedom to walk in purpose and serve others.
May we never forget that freedom came with a cost. 🇺🇸

The next level I’m stepping into requires a different version of me.
Not a smaller me, but a stronger, wiser, and more surrendered me.
God is preparing me for opportunities, assignments, and rooms I once prayed for. And I can feel the shift.

I’m excited about the woman I am becoming and even more excited about what God has in store.
The transformation is already underway.

27 Mother’s Day without you…💔 The last photo we took together… and one of the memories I cherish most.
Mother’s Day looks a little different for me now. I miss my mom more than words can express, but I thank God for the love, wisdom, and warmth she poured into my life. Her love still lives in me every single day.

Forever my mother. Forever my heart. Happy Mother’s Day in Heaven.💐❤️

Unpopular opinion:
Not everyone deserves a participation trophy.

Bring back healthy competition. Bring back resilience. Bring back learning how to lose with grace and win with humility.
Some of the greatest lessons in life come from not getting picked, not winning, and not placing first.

That experience builds discipline, work ethic, and emotional maturity.
You don’t always need applause to validate your effort.
