Annalyn's Dad - She'll never tell you because that's just who she is, but I wanted to share what she did:

While fishing in Joplin MO recently, we had moved to a park to try our luck and met these two young men Dennis and Levy from MSSU. They were trying fishing for the first time and she saw their rigging wasn't going to help them much. She asked me "Dad can you talk to them and see if we can help them catch fish?" So we said hello and offered some help. They gladly accepted, and we found out this was their very first time to fish! She put her pole down and instead of focusing on her fishing, she spent time watching their bobbers and telling them when to pull and reel, helping them catch their very first fish of their lives! I've always said Annalyn has a huge heart and she loves helping others catch fish just as much as she loves catching her own. Congratulations to Dennis and Levy, we are proud of you beginning your fishing journeys, and thank you for letting us be a part of that!

I was able to shake the skunk off in Iowa! My first Iowa bass I've caught. We hit a few different lakes and ponds which were cool to see compared to Texas. I'm glad for the opportunities and glad to be back home!

We didn't get anything in Missouri, but my dad is first on the board in Iowa so far! Storms were rolling in and we had about 1 hr before dark, and he got this one. I hope we go again before we leave to come home!

I had a great time at the grand re-opening of Hooked Up Tackle LLC with River Chronicles! Charlie "Here" Villareal and Joe are such big supporters of kids fishing!
