It’s summer time! Your grass is green, the flowers are blooming, everything is starting to look so pretty.... EXCEPT the piles of dirt in your front and backyard.
You ask what it is from?
Well, that my friend is from gophers.
Little rodents that tunnel about 6-12 inches under the ground and eat your grass roots, tree roots, and garden roots. They also can mess up your foundation of your house, cause draining issues, and they just don’t make your yard very nice looking.
I have been trapping for over eight years. I can trap about anything you need gone, but I have specialized in gophers and have done very well at it.
If you have a problem with gophers or small rodents, please give me a call at 713-299-2857
Thank you:)

Here is a mole I trapped yesterday. The difference between a mole and a gopher is moles are usually right under the ground just a couple inches were they tunnel around your yard looking for worms and bugs. Gophers are deeper and eat roots and plants.
You know those tunnels you fall in when walking through the yard and maybe twist an ankle or get tripped by? Yeah that’s a mole.
Moles can destroy the way our yard looks in just a short time. They will tunnel all around pushing up the grass and making little dirt runs across your yard.
Moles compared to gophers are a lot harder to trap. They sometimes take a few more days then gophers until you can check the traps and not all of the runs they make through the yard do they go through again. This causing it harder to find the main run sometimes and trapping them.
Anyone can set traps and try to trap moles and gophers, but if you don’t have the time or the patience or just don’t know how to or don’t want to, then give me a call and I’ll see what I can do for you:)

Gophers eat mostly vegetation such as roots, bulbs, seeds, and plants that they can pull under ground. Here is a gopher we caught today that seems to have been in the process of eating grass roots and saving some for later.
The claws on their front feet are used for digging tunnels through the ground, while stuffing their face with those tasty plants and vegetation you have growing in your yard 🙂
